Privacy policy

In short

The tools run in your browser. We do not receive or store the dates, addresses, names or amounts you type. The moving checklist saves your check marks, move type, move or departure date and answers only in this browser’s localStorage so you can resume the same list; it does not save today’s date. Nothing entered in that checklist is sent anywhere or put in a URL. Use “Clear all” to remove that tool’s saved data, especially on a shared device. The page works without storage.

We do not ask you to sign up, and the site itself sets no cookies.

What you type into the tools

All calculations happen on your device. Nothing you type is put into the page address (URL), so it does not appear in browser history shared with others or in requests to other sites.

The one exception is the address tool: to look up an address, your browser downloads a data file named after the first three digits of the postal code (for example /postal/100.json). Our host sees that request like any page request. It never sees the full postal code, your name or anything else you type.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc. To run and protect the service, Cloudflare receives standard access-log data: your IP address, user agent (browser details), requested URL and the time of the request. This includes requests for postal-code data files such as /postal/100.json.

The previous address on Vercel only redirects to this site. If you visit that old address, Vercel sees the request to the old address.

We do not use an analytics service at the moment. If we add one, this page will be updated first.
